Referrals
In 2003, HOMELINK will refer more than 70,000 patients to local home-care companies. HOMELINK currently works with more than 100 contracting entities representing more than 3,600 payers. As the market for ancillary services continues to change, managed care organizations have recognized the benefits of contracting with a network administrator like HOMELINK.

VGM Group members are given the option to become Preferred Providers, allowing them to be called before other members and/or companies in their geographic area.

Education/Assistance
HOMELINK offers member assistance in acquiring local contracts with managed care organizations. We have the resources available to determine who the local MCO contacts are (phone numbers and addresses). HOMELINK staff will also work with members to pursue large contracts and direct the referrals to the company that assisted in securing these agreements.

Electronic Orders
HOMELINK currently has the capabilities to accept orders electronically from managed care companies and soon will be able to direct them to our Preferred Providers the same way. This will allow Members to get referrals faster and bill HOMELINK electronically.
